WHAT I LEARNT ...TIPS/ TRICKS:

Basically everything we did was new for me, so I learnt a lot but here are some of the most useful:

- ask someone for help when you have no idea what to do - ask classmates, the tutors, lecturers, or literally anyone who looks like they no what they're doing. This is really helpful especially for learning all the new software- you find exactly what you need to know & save heaps of time!
- listen to what the tutors mention in class, even if it doen't apply directly to your own work at the time...it probably will at some stage.
-Something I found really handy using Unreal:when you want to copy multiple objects or replicate a set of the same objects quickly - hold down the 'CTRL' button and left click the objects you want. This allows you to select & deselect exacly what you need. From there you can copy & paste as you wish...but remember to rebuild all geometries at the end.

the three news articles -

- each showed a different aspect that related to power such as respect, aggression & ownership.

- tata had respect and therefore he didn't need to necessarily be the richest man to have power, his other qualities attain his status of power

- zhang had agression and went for what she wanted, "my desire has always been to be leader in an industry"

- slim owned basically everything in Mexico, "this restaurant is the only place in Mexico not owned by Carlos Slim"

the 18 sketch perspectives -

- couldn't find the sketch perspectives on blog but saw the ones that were used as a starting point for your elevator and pathways the shapes and formation of the shapes were nicely constructed and oriented.

the 36 custom textures -

- same with the textures, wasn't able to find them on your blog

elevator and dining table -

- sketches provided for elevator was quite good as it showed a relationship to power through use of two high rising L's and one small one --> overshadowing relation

- no dining table

animations, image captures and architecture -

- images were a bit unclear --> capture some close-ups or overviews

- interesting use of shapes & bridge

- bridge gave sense of power

overall, even though some of the stuff wasn't up on the blog i'm pretty sure you did it coz i know you...hehe

your ideas are quite good, from what i saw from your sketches.
